I needed to work on my site and took a few months off of my business. Now, I can’t access it period. Can someone tell me how to get back in so I can publish? Thanks!

Hello and thanks for contacting us. That seems to be an error caused by a brute-force login security plugin. I recommend you log into your website using FTP or cPanel File Manager to disable the security plugin or contact your hosting provider for assistance.  Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist.

Unfortunately, I can’t as the login method(s) differ between hosting providers. I recommend contacting your hosting provider or checking their documentation.

Also, there are multiple ways to disable the plugin:

Rename the plugin folder in wp-content/plugins to include a period “.” in the beginning

Disable the plugin using WP CLI in SSH: wp plugin toggle [plugin-name]
