    Hello Kate.ung.m,

Thank you for contacting us about creating a staging site that clones your original one. You can download the Staging plugin and install it. Then, when you view your Pages and Posts there will be an option to “Copy to Staging” site.

Another option is to create a Cloud WordPress site, then use the BoldGrid Backup plugin to make a copy of your site there.

The previous staging process was limited in that it only allowed you to view your new staging site with a new theme, but didn’t allow you to use different plugins. By Staging on Cloud WordPress, you’re able to use an entirely isolated WordPress installation, and then easily use BoldGrid Backups to make your site live when it’s ready.

    Thank you,

    John-Paul
