I’m evaluating the WordPress BoldGrid Backup with an eye to using the full version.
It worked great until I found out it would not backup or restore Beaver Builder Themer layout files. I am not sure if it is not backing them up, but I know it is not restoring them.
Since I use Beaver Builder a lot I need those files included. Is this a known issue with a resolution?

It’s possible there’s a conflict between the two. I’d advise submitting this query as a bug report.
