Changing Header Layouts

Johnathan 3 months ago • updated by Harry J (Support Agent) 3 months ago 1

Having a selection to choose different styles for your header and footer would be a great feature to have. Ideally, it would allow for different options for menus, logo placement, and additional text

Answer

Thank you for your suggestion.

This feature is something currently being worked on, and we will be implementing this in a future version of the BoldGrid Theme Framework.

Delete Columns

Carlos E 9 months ago • updated by Harry J (Support Agent) 9 months ago 1

When a column is deleted, can BoldGrid resize the remaining columns evenly? This behavior is present when adding a column or cloning a column, the columns are resized evenly. Currently, the column's spacing remains (on the right most section of the row), even though it has been "deleted". The delete function is almost the same as "Clear Content" because the column space remains. As it stands, you have to manually resize the remaining columns after deleting one, to eliminate the unwanted spacing on the right.

Adjusting robots.txt using the SEO Plugin

Harry J (Support Agent) 2 weeks ago • updated by BoldGrid (Support Agent) 2 weeks ago 2

I would like to have the ability to modify my robots.txt file using the BoldGrid SEO Plugin. I currently have to use another plugin for this, and it would be great to have this feature without adding an additional plugin.

I Think you guys should add a background remover feature for cx's with very little graphic design background they can take there image/logo and remove background to add in the header so it flows with their site and looks clean

DavidSa 3 weeks ago • updated by BoldGrid (Support Agent) 2 weeks ago 1

There are plenty of android apps out there that do this but to add this feature would be extremely helpful and i can remove photoshop or other photo editing apps from my workflow and focus on being in one environment

Ability to cancel subscription and request for refund through BoldGrid Central.

kaizenberg.inbox 4 weeks ago • updated by BoldGrid (Support Agent) 3 weeks ago 1

There is only payment option but no cancellation or refund request option. Be fair with customer. Also help material is worse than 3rd world. So you have a lot of ground to cover in terms of ethics.

Answer

Thank you for your feature request.

A ticket has been submitted to our Development team for consideration in a future release of BoldGrid Central

and hopefully we will be releasing a new version with your feature very soon!

Ability to copy entire Active to Staging (with Active Theme) without having to recreate it Staging.

Jim 1 month ago • updated by Harry J (Support Agent) 1 month ago 1

Once a site is deployed, we need the ability to copy the deployed site back to staging, exactly as deployed so that we can then try out new things/changes/improvements in staging then re-deploy when ready.

Answer

Thank you for contacting us.

We are currently working on improving the staging capability, and appreciate your feedback. I will pass it along to our development team, and hopefully we will be releasing a new version very soon.

Ability to add attributions to images that I upload to wordpress

professortechie 1 month ago • updated by BoldGrid (Support Agent) 1 month ago 1

Hello, I'm back again with another request.

I would like to add attributions to images that I've personally uploaded to the WordPress media library. Currently any images added through the "Boldgrid Connect Search" have attributions automatically added to the "Special Thanks" page/link in the footer (this is a feature I LOVE!).

However, when I upload an image that I did not find in "Boldgrid Connect Search", that requires attribution, I have to find a way to add it myself. In addition, the attribution I add is inevitably going to be in a different location, thereby splitting my attributions for images. I feel this is a problem as CC licensing requires that I make the attribution easy to find.

I would like to have a feature added that when I upload an image, there is a line under "Attachment details" (AKA Image details) where I can add the attribution. Also for contents of this line to be added to the "Special Thanks" page to keep my page in good legal standing.

Thank you so much for time and effort spent on this project. It's really been a life saver.

Regards, James

When inserting an iframe I need a way to control the vertical size of the paragraph it is within.

Todd R 2 months ago • updated by BoldGrid (Support Agent) 2 months ago 2

I am trying to insert the below and it displays, but creates a vertical scrollbar within the page. Probably a vertical size control on the paragraph would help solve it, but please see what you think.

The iframe code and in page look is here at http://toddrobinson.us/323-2/

UNDO button

David 2 months ago • updated by BoldGrid (Support Agent) 2 months ago 1

It would be useful to be able to back out experimental changes that were entered to see how they look.  I know there is a Preview button and that one can exit without saving, but UNDO would be a safety net.
