Awesome, I'm glad that the footer Text Widget worked for you. For the Background Image settings in the Customizer, I recommend using:

Background Effects - Fixed

Background Image Size - Scaled to Fit

Those both work for the image I am using, which is smaller than the default (1920 x 1080). For your specific image size, I recommend using the same settings but then adjusting the Vertical and/or Horizontal Position sliders to adjust it to best fit as it appears in the mobile preview.

I hope this helps!

Hello again.

You're welcome, thanks for the extra information. I am unable to replicate the issue when I change the image or with the default image. What are the dimensions of the image you are using? Or is this occurring with the original image?

Hi Ron.

I believe that the menu Arnel was mentioning is described here. However, the Settings for the Background Image only allow you to hide the image on the selected devices. The responsiveness of BoldGrid Inspirations should be automatic.

If you can reply back with the name of the Inspiration and the size/dimensions of the image you are using in your section's background image, this will help to replicate and diagnose the issue.

Thanks.

Hi Chad.

I'm sorry to see that you are experiencing issues with the responsiveness of your BoldGrid website. If you create a new footer Text Widget with the long text you were using, this corrects the run-off you mentioned in your previous question. Under the section titled "Getting Shortcode and Adding Widget" in our guide "How to add Shortcodes to Text Widgets", start at Step 3 if you need assistance with how to make the Text Widget in the footer.

I'm still trying to diagnose the issue with the appearance of the image you are reporting. I will respond back once I have some more details.

Hello Scott.

Thanks for posting your question regarding obtaining your Premium Connect Key after switching hosts. Unfortunately, you would no longer have access to the Premium Connect Key from InMotion Hosting if you no longer have a hosting subscription, as it is included for free with their hosting package(s). You would only be able to obtain a new Premium Connect Key for free from one of the hosts listed here. Otherwise, you can purchase a new license if your web host is not partnered with BoldGrid.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Carlos D.

Hello Stephen.

Thanks for posting your question regarding adding HTML within the <head> tag. You are correct, that is where you would add that code.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Carlos D.

Hello.

Thanks for posting your question about upgrading to a Premium Connect Key. You should be able to do this following the instructions available here. If you do not have a Premium Connect Key the options for obtaining one are available here.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Hello Leon.

Thanks for posting your question regarding moving the site logo more to the right.  I'm sorry to see that the Customizer is not moving it adequately. You can customize this by using the CSS Editor in the Customizer. I was able to use this code to move it to the right:

.site-branding {
margin-left: 150px;
}

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Carlos D.

Hello Tom.

Thanks for posting your question to learn how to remove the header image from all your pages, except the Homepage. I'd be happy to help you with this, however, the depth of the customization necessary would require knowledge of how to manipulate the theme options. This is mainly due to the fact that you would need to set this at the theme level, as this is not available in the Customizer. You can always send in a feature request via the BoldGrid Central feedback link and to help our developers understand what kind of features real customers want to use.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Carlos D

Hello,

Thanks for your question regarding the color customizations you are making not appearing on all your pages. I'm sorry to see that there is an issue that you are experiencing. The color customization should apply automatically to all the Active Pages (as long as they are not Staging).

If applying the changes to the Active theme in the Customizer tool, then please let us know more details, like the Inspiration you are using and the version of any BoldGrid plugins you have installed. If you are using any other builder type plugin, be sure to disable it and check if the issue is resolved.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Carlos D.
