In the Florentine theme, the social media menu is on the bottom instead of the Primary menu by default. If you want to display it as the primary menu you can change the menu location. Here are the steps:

  1. Click Customize
  2. Click Menus
  3. Click Social Media
  4. Under Menu Locations check the box next to Primary Menu, this will cause it to replace the existing menu on top
  5. Click Add Items, then check the box next to your menus (Home, About, Blog, Courses, Contact, etc.) You may have to recreate custom menus

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about creating separate language pages. You can create menus in the Customizer to match the main page. Also, here is a helpful link to the official WordPress Multilingual documentation,  it provides additional tips, pros, and cons on setting up your site.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Hello Kate.ung.m,

Thank you for contacting us about creating a staging site that clones your original one. You can download the Staging plugin and install it. Then, when you view your Pages and Posts there will be an option to "Copy to Staging" site.

Another option is to create a Cloud WordPress site, then use the BoldGrid Backup plugin to make a copy of your site there.

The previous staging process was limited in that it only allowed you to view your new staging site with a new theme, but didn't allow you to use different plugins. By Staging on Cloud WordPress, you're able to use an entirely isolated WordPress installation, and then easily use BoldGrid Backups to make your site live when it's ready.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Sorry to hear about the troubles you are experiencing, we understand your frustration. I noticed you are hosted with Web Hosting Hub, which is a fully supporting BoldGrid Host. This means they can access your site, see the code with you and help you make the adjustments Jacqueem recommended.

Yes, if the slider you built is not meeting your needs, a plugin is a good option.

Hello sbush,

Thank you for contacting us about using Sliders in BoldGrid. Yes, you can use multiple sliders on the same page in BoldGird and WordPress.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Hello sijache,

Thank you for contacting us about removing BoldGrid. Sorry to hear you don't want to use BoldGrid anymore. You can remove it from your WordPress Dashboard by going to Plugins. Then Disable and Delete the BoldGrid related ones.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Hello downthewebline,

Thank you for contacting us about removing 'website coming soon' from your URL. Check your "Category" for example 'website coming soon' may be the default setting. This can result in it showing up in the URL. Also, check your Permalink settings, as they may have custom settings causing this.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Thank you for letting us know. We're glad you were able to narrow it down.

Hello Andrew,

Thank you for contacting us about updating a saved block in the library. Unfortunately, the blocks are save in the state they are in, at the time they are saved. Updates to the block would not affect places where it was previously used. This means you would have to replace the old blocks with the updated version. Feel free to submit this as a feature request to our development team, so they can consider adding it.

Thank you,

John-Paul
