GuestWe updated the plugin from 2.8.10 to 2.8.11 on 8/7/25, and the slideshow on our homepage quit working. I reached out to the Theme developer, and they discovered that one of our plugins was conflicting with their theme. After systematically deactivating all plugins and reactivating them one by one (and after further checking), we found that the conflict was with the W3 Total Cache plugin.
The theme is Hotelcalifornia Version: 1.4.7 By BoldThemes.
Any assistance is appreciated.

KeymasterHello Amber,
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
Can you please disable the settings one by one in W3 Total Cache Performance>general settings, save the settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled and see which one might be causing the issue? Thanks!
Amber Hughes
GuestIt looks like Lazy Load Images is causing the conflict. I now have W3 Total Cache enabled (without Lazy Load Images), and the images are appearing properly on the Home page slideshow with your plugin enabled.

KeymasterHello Amber,
Please make sure to go to Performance>User Experience and make sure that the option ” Process background images” is disabled, save all settings, and purge the cache. Keep it disabled for the time being.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and thank you for your patience!Amber Hughes
GuestI did as instructed and turned Lazy Load back on, and the slideshow is working properly.
Will you let me know when I can enable the “process background images” again?
Thank you.
