Disable redirect_on_foreign_domain

Hi,

Our site runs behind a load balancer and CDN. For certain paths (due to fallback behaviour for static hosting optimisation), the Host header is that of the load balancer, which is different to the public address of the site, leading redirect_on_foreign_domain to create a continuous redirect to itself. Is it possible to disable this action within our theme?
