I’ve wasted two hours trying to work through Bold Grid’s apparent inability to deal with an ampersand character. Each time, after saving my work, it reverts back to “&” and completely blows away my SEO optimization rating.
This conversion process is normal. The “amp” code will display properly as a “&” in your search engine results. I suspect, however, this is adding characters to your SEO score and causing it to run over. The SEO score you see in the plugin (whether they’re green, orange, or red) are merely guidelines. They will not adversely affect your actual search engine rankings.
