I am trying to discover how to make the font size of my main menu items a little smaller. I had read that you could do it in Customizer > Fonts, but I do not see an option in there for menu fonts. All I have is Main Text and Headings. See screencap. I’ve tried rolling back to previous versions of Crio but that did not help.

Hi Cheryl thanks for your question! Crio Pro WordPress theme comes with many options for fonts and typography. In your case we need to locate the control for the Main Main item font.

To access that control in the Customizer visit Customize<<Design<<Menus<<Main Menu<<Font, and you’ll see the option to change the font size for your Main Menu.

I hope this helps. Please reach back out to us if you have any other questions.

The first set of direction I saw said to look under Design> Fonts.

However, for some reason I don’t have a Main Menu option in Design<<Menus<<Main Menu<<Font. I see Tertiary and Footer.

Thanks Cheryl, that’s weird your Main menu option be should there as well.

Can you check Appearance<<Menus from your dashboard and make sure your “Main Menu” is selected under Menu Settings<<Display location?

    Thank you Cheryl,

I think this is happening as a result of the bug we identified in our latest Crio update. Now that you know where the Menu options are in the Customizer can you refer back to the WP Rollback workaround that Joseph suggested to you in your comment on this page:

It seems that this bug was introduced in the 2.9.3 release of Crio and a workaround that you can use is to rollback the theme version installed on your website back to 2.9.2.

The easiest way to switch to the older version is to install the WP Rollback plugin to handle the theme switch. Go to your Themes list once the plugin is installed and click on Crio. You should then see the Rollback link on the Theme Details popup which will allow you to change to the older version.

Hopefully this workaround helps you create the design you need until we can get a permanent fix released and please let us know if there is anything else that we can do to assist you.

    I hope this helps!

    That did the trick! Thanks

Now that I have the font the correct size, can I update back to the current Crio, or would that break it again?

I’m happy to hear that worked for you Cheryl. I think you should be good to update back to the current version. If you lose functionality after doing so just revert back to the older version. Our developers have been notified about this issue and they are working on a patch for it.

Don’t hesitate to reach back out to us if you have any other questions!
