Running your first WordPress Backup with BoldGrid Backup | BoldGrid

BoldGrid Backup allows you to backup your WordPress site any time you choose. We recommend taking a backup as soon as you install the plugin, so you always have something to restore from in case of catastrophe. In order to run a manual backup using the BoldGrid Backup plugin, follow the directions listed below.

  • In the Dashboard, Navigate to BoldGrid Backup → Backup Archives
  • Click on the button labeled Backup Site Now

Once your backup is complete, you will be presented with an administrator notice letting you know it is done. If you wish to take backups in the future outside of the normal schedule, this is a helpful feature.
