Customizing your Blog Page with BoldGrid Crio | BoldGrid

BoldGrid Crio allows you fine tune control over your how your Blog or Archive pages are displayed. The following guide will provide you with information on navigating to these controls in the Customizer, and give you information on using them.

Post List Settings

  • In the Dashboard, navigate to AppearanceCustomize
  • In the Customizer menu, navigate to Design → Blog → Blog Page → Post List Settings

Here you will find controls to help change your Columns, Number of Posts, Excerpt or Full Content, the Excerpt length and whether the posts should be contained or full width. Next, you may want to change the Blog Sidebar.

Sidebar

The Blog Page can have a sidebar on the left or right, or not use one.

  • In the Dashboard, navigate to AppearanceCustomize
  • In the Customizer menu, navigate to Design → Blog → Blog Page → Sidebar

Background Colors

Each Blog Post can use 2 Background Colors – one for the Header and one for the Content. The Post Header includes the Post Title and Meta information. The Post Content includes either the Excerpt or Full Post Content depending on setting, as well as Category, Tags, Comments, and the Continue Reading link.

  • In the Dashboard, navigate to AppearanceCustomize
  • In the Customizer menu, navigate to Design → Blog → Blog Page → Background Colors

Titles

If you would like to Hide each Post Title you can do so from here. There are also settings for the Color, Font Size, and Position.

  • In the Dashboard, navigate to AppearanceCustomize
  • In the Customizer menu, navigate to Design → Blog → Blog Page → Titles

There are multiple options for how each Post’s Featured Image can display. It can be Hidden, used as the Header Background, appear Above or Below Header, or be In Post Content.

  • In the Dashboard, navigate to AppearanceCustomize
  • In the Customizer menu, navigate to Design → Blog → Blog Page → Featured Images
