Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are used to tell web browsers how to layout and style the web page. When loading a web page, web browsers have to completely read and process the CSS files before showing the visitor any page content.

To improve website loading performance, try to only load the CSS that is needed for a given web page instead of loading all of the website’s CSS for every single web page. In addition, remove unnecessary CSS statements when they are no longer needed.
