    Hello,

Please, i have issues with adding comments on my sites. I have followed all the procedures including ticking on comments and discussion (screen option/ quick edit) and published it, but it doesn’t work.  Have tried it on these two sites: bevolution.com.ng and pastorfaith.com.ng.

Thanks in anticipation for a quick response and quick fixs.

    Hello Bona,

Thank you for contacting us about adding comments to your blog/site. In my tests, the sites you provided are not resolving at this time.

I recommend Displaying and Logging PHP Errors, Warnings, and Notices, as it may provide a more specific error message.

Also, try disabling your plugins, except for the BoldGrid related ones.

    Thank you,

    John-Paul

Thank you so much for your prompt response. I have done all I can but it still persists. There are no error messages, warning or report generated in any of the sites. i am basically using boldgrid blugnins except for loginizer and google analytics. However, on the pastorfaith.com.ng, the comment section appeared on the back end and not on the front or display page, as a result, I can only add a comment on the edit page to my site after saving changes and publishing it. please, kindly assist.

    Bonaventure.

    Hello Bona,

I took a look at both of your website pages and neither have a page or post where people can provide feedback.  WordPress provides feedback option (via comments) only on pages or posts.  You would have to create a post or page and then publish it to your site so that people can provide feedback. It doesn’t look like you have published a page where the option is visible.   Enabling/disabling comments is not a BoldGrid feature – it is a feature built into WordPress and something we know that works even with the BoldGrid plugin.  If the problem recurs, then I would recommend disabling your plugins and using a base theme (e.g. twenty-seventeen) to see if the basic functionality of WordPress is working.  Remember though, you won’t see the option for a comment if you don’t publish a page or post with the option enabled.
