GuestI am new to everything WordPress! Needed a backup solution and found Total Upkeep. Just installed and activated the FREE version. I market to a rather limited pool of customers and self-host on a NAS. Yes, my website is slow at times. Just getting started. Anyway, going through the settings for Total Upkeep I came across the Available Compressors. Took a screenshot for you. Just wondering if this is an issue I need to deal with, or should the plug-in still be able to make a valid backup? Under system zip it says ‘unable to restore all files and folders’.
Any advice would be appreciated.

KeymasterHello,
Thank you for reaching out to our support team.
The system zip is what we primarily recommend because it is the most reliable of them all. System Zip uses the PHP zip command, if you don’t see that as an option then more than likely the PHP zip command isn’t enabled on your server.
Thanks

GuestI do appreciate your response. The system seems to be using the php zip and appears to be working well. The backup is being completed and I am able to download to my backup drive. Once downloaded I have no problem opening and browsing the archive. Quite happy with how the program is working so far. I will have to look further into what the ‘system zip’ is actually looking for on my server. I am still new at running a server and admit that I was not expecting to have to get involved with Linux. But at least the backups work and seem to be reliable. Thanks again for responding.

KeymasterHello,
Thank you for reaching out to our support team.
Of course, if everything is working for you there is no need to change anything. That is why we give the versatility of multiple options.
Thanks
