    Hello,

    This has been bugging me for ages! If you search my company name on google, instead of finding my home page it finds this page;

    http://dolancustomguitars.co.uk/attribution/

    Any idea how to stop this!? or hide it from google? I’ve tried everything, and spoke to so many people and nobody has a clue!

    I really need some help with this, so anyone had the same thing and fixed it or knows how to fix it!?

    Cheers,

    Adam

    Hello Adam,
    Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Attributions page displaying in Google. You can disable that within your Google Webmaster tools. They have a tool called the Remove URLs Tool that you can use.

    Kindest Regards,

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply, and I have removed the link from google, so thanks for that. Apparently it only does it for 90 days.

    The only way to make it permanent is to add some code to the page in question. I don’t have access to that page and I am not able to edit it. If i put that code in the header of the whole site, I assume it will do the hole site. I’m not sure if there is a way for google to permanently not see that page without being able to edit that page.

    Regards,
    Adam

    Hello Adam,

    Thanks for your question.  You can set up a Robots.txt file to stop Google from scanning that part of the website.

    If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Kindest regards,
    Arnel C.
