    Hi there,

After installing the BoldGrid plugin I see this message: BoldGrid connection issue. What can I do about it? On this forum there is a similar question, but it didn’t provide a useful answer. Can someone help me with this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Greetings,

    Good morning Folkert,

Whats your domain name? I’d like to look into this further for you. There’s a number of reasons this error could display so I’d like to troubleshoot it further using your domain name.

    Thanks!

    Hello Folkert,

Thanks for submitting a question about the BoldGrid connection issue. This is often a temporary error in reaching the BoldGrid asset servers. It usually resolves itself in a matter of a few moments. We have a BoldGrid status page you can check in order to verify that there are network issues happening. If the issues persist, it would be best to check with the web host or internet service provider to see if there any network issues happening on their side.

    Best,

    Christopher M.

    Hello brandsi,

Thank you for contacting us. I recommend enabling debugging as it may provide a more detailed error message. Disable your other 3rd party plugins. An easy way to accomplish this is to rename the /plugins folder, then rename it back after testing. Try testing with a default theme installed such as “twenty seventeen”. Check your servers error logs for additional messages. Check your mod_security log for any blocks there. Try renaming your .htaccess file, which will disable the rules for testing.

    Thank you,

    John-Paul
