It looks really bad that none of my photos on that page are getting captured to be posted to Facebook when I share a page.

Hello nityasri,
Thank you for your question about facebook not having a photo of your site. It appears that this can be addressed from facebook’s end by using the “Sharing Debugger”. Note: You will need to be logged into your facebook to access this page.

This may be related to my other question reagarding the SEO. The SEO pack I installed is asking all this information…but also it is asking for Title and description from YOUR site. What is the AppID?

Share App ID Missing
The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog. -
Parser Mismatched Metadata
The parser’s result for this metadata did not match the input metadata. Likely, this was caused by the data being ordered in an unexpected way, multiple values being given for a property only expecting a single value, or property values for a given property being mismatched. Here are the input properties that were not seen in the parsed result: ‘og:description, og:title’
