I am starting another website on InMotion hosting. I have other sites I am using WordPress for.
I was going to install WordPress and add BoldGrid as a plug-in but a tech at InMotion suggested if I am going to install BoldGrid I just do a clean install of Boldgrid from my AMP page.
What are the pros and cons of those options?

    Hi Timothy,

Thanks for reaching out! There are multiple ways to install BoldGrid, InMotion has an integration with their AMP panel that is an easy convenient option for users newer to WordPress and hosting. The options in your AMP should install BoldGrid to your site by default and will automatically apply your connect key.

If you are more experienced with WordPress and are more accustomed to working with it regularly Installing a clean WordPress and adding the BoldGrid Plugins after is a good option as it might be more familiar to you as far as maintaining and managing the site.

In the end there isn’t necessarily a con as far as BoldGrid is concerned with what method you choose but depending on how you prefer to install WordPress, for example if you tend to use Softaculous, you may not get the same automatic login options or control over the installation details. The only real downside to installing BoldGrid after a clean WordPress installation is taking a minute or two to install the plugins/theme and activating your connect key.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if there’s anything else that we can help with Timothy.
