I am setting a video gallery. I need to make some style changes and figure I need a child theme. I am using BoldGrid Monument theme as parent and following the instructions for setting up child theme provided by BoldGrid. I have modified the style.css and functions.php but am not sure how to upload – Do I need to convert the directory containing these files into a .zip?
When trying to upload a theme, I am asked for a .zip file.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Phyllis,

Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Monument theme with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

I think you may have done everything correctly but you do need to place your child theme inside of a .zip file before attempting to upload to your site.

You can also try using a free WordPress child theme generator to accomplish your task. I hope this helps!
