I have tried several different ways to create the sub-menu drop downs. But instead of a drop down option in the menu, it creates another main menu item. Why?

    Hello, bcarroll.

Thank you for asking your question about creating your menus with drop-down options. I’m happy to assist you with this today. You can modify menus and submenus by Creating a Custom Link Menu and removing the URL associated with it. Our guide titled How to Disable a Top Menu Item Link will guide you through that process. I hope this helps!

    Sincerely,

I followed that guide like I did previous to the post. And the samething is happening. Instead of a drop down, it adds it next to the main tab, still. Attached are screen shots of the final result.

‘Employee’ should be a drop-down sub menu of ‘Resources’

menu without dropdownmenu with nested link
