In the past, when I needed to make a change to the Home page, I would go to the BoldGrid Customization, select Menu and it would provide a list of command options on the left and a display of the Home page on the right. The Home page display offered editing buttons for various sections of the page, such as parts of the Header or Footer. For the last several months, this part of the Customization has been missing. I’ve been trying to access the footer to change the address displayed there but have not seen the right section. I use the Wedge Theme. I thought if I waited for a couple of updates, this would be rectified but that hasn’t been the case.
I have another issue as well. When I go to edit the Home page, I lose the BoldGrid edit capability and it resorts back to the WP editor. This only happens on the Home page.
Please advise.

Sorry to hear about the problems getting the Customizer tools to work properly, our team will do everything we can to help!
My first suspicion is that there is some kind of plugin conflict that is preventing those tools from loading correctly. You can test for a plugin conflict by temporarily deactivating all non-BoldGrid plugins on your website and then checking if the Customizer controls work. If they start functioning while the other plugins are deactivated then the next step is reactivate your other plugins one by one to see where the problem is coming from.
You might be able to resolve the issue you described with editing the Home page by using the options in that interface to switch back to our editor, the Post and Page Builder. I’m unsure if your Home page is loading with the WordPress or Classic editor, but you should be able to use some of the methods outlined in our article on Choosing a Preferred Editor to swap that page back to the Post and Page Builder.

In regards to the 2nd issue – the Home page editor. I did find a forum reference to change the editor from Classic to your Post and Page Builder. It worked to a degree. It provided the visual more inline with the Post and Page Builder editor but the colored components that define the row, column and content are still not showing up.
I followed your instructions and deactivated all but the BoldGrid plugins. I then brought up the Customizer. The image of the home page was still missing. It doesn’t seem to be any of these plugins that are causing the problem.

These two issues are very strange and I am not sure where these problems are coming from. I checked your account information and it looks like you have a Premium account with us, could you submit a Premium Support ticket through your BoldGrid Central account so that team work with you to get these problems resolved?
