    Hello Theodore,

Thank you for your question on the Free non-hosted version vs the Premium hosted version.

Currently, the only difference is with how the hosting can handle any support requests. Since InMotion is a Premium Web Hosting Provider, they will offer 100% support for any questions or issues you have with BoldGrid.

If you had BoldGrid and were on XYZ Hosting (fictional non-premium host) then you would not be able to get any BoldGrid support from them directly. They would likely just send you here.

The key itself has no difference in features, etc.

Of course, no matter who you have as a host, you can always come to us with any questions or issues regarding BoldGrid!

    Kindest Regards,

    Scott M

Like you, I’m trying it on my own server. Sadly I can’t install anything from BoldGrid as it fails right after I click it. The plugin is active, just can’t do anything with it. Any help would be awesome!

    Hello Scott!

Thanks for your prompt answer! By the way I would like to let me know according to the following chat if I had the proper support.

    QUESTION:
I am trying out BoldGrid and I notice that at the bottom of the screen, a Special Thanks link, http://myagenda.gr/ma/attribution/ remains! Is there a way to get rid of this? I tried to take it out but had no success. Other things in the footer area where taken out through the BoldGrid.

    Sincerely,

    Theodore Chryssanthidis
04:54:06 PM [Thomas N.]Hello Theodore Chryssanthidis, my name is Thomas N. Thanks for contacting us today!
04:54:14 PM [Thomas N.] I would be glad to assist you today. Allow me 2-3 minutes to bring up your account.

    04:54:29 PM [Theodore Chryssanthidis] oK!
04:55:31 PM [Thomas N.] Thanks for holding, Theodore
04:55:55 PM [Thomas N.] So if you are wishing to remove text from the footer, that is primarily up to you to remove. This is editing the code of the website on the footer at http://myagenda.gr/ma/attribution/
04:57:37 PM [Theodore Chryssanthidis] Yes I tried but had no luck. There were other links there too, but I was able to remove them, like the link for WordPress and a link to BoldGrid.
04:58:55 PM [Thomas N.] Editing the footer text is beyond the scope of our Support, unfortunately.
05:00:42 PM [Theodore Chryssanthidis] OK! so where can I refer in order to find something out about it?
05:01:25 PM [Thomas N.] You can check with the theme developer or a WordPress developer.
05:03:15 PM [Theodore Chryssanthidis] OK!, thanks and take care! Bye!
05:04:14 PM [Thomas N.] Is there anything else I may assist with?
05:06:57 PM [Thomas N.] Are you still with me?
05:07:40 PM [Theodore Chryssanthidis] For the time being no, thanks!

Also I would like to mention that my WordPress Installation with BoldGrid has Ninja Forms installed is this plugin offered by InMotion or comes with your BoldGrid installation?

    Waiting to hear from you.

    Best regards,

    Theodore Chryssanthidis

    Dear Sirs,

Recently I have subscribed with http://www.inmotionhosting.com/ so I have also the so called by your company, Official Hosted Premium I guess, right?

Since I visited your site I see that there is a Free Version also for using BoldGrid on non-Official Hosted Premium Web Hosting Providers.

It is mentioned on this page https://www.boldgrid.com/get-it-now/#free and I quote, “This provides the majority of the functionality of BoldGrid, including easy web building. It does not come with any individual support and requires you have your own hosting. Limitations apply to the Free Key. If you are a first time webmaster we recommend you go with an Official Host.”

I would like to know, what are the limitation that apply to the Free Key besides that I have to have my own hosting solution and that I will not have individual support?

    Waiting to hear from you.

    Sincerely,

    Theodore Chryssanthidis
