On the homepage I have a video (hosted on my site, not embedded).
The dropdown menu disappears at the point it reaches the top of the video box.
The dropdown menu works fine on the other pages where there is no embedded video.
Any suggestions?

I went ahead and tested that in our dev environment and I couldn’t replicate your issue using the page HMTL. Are you using a custom header in your theme? If so, can you send the HTML for that as well so that we can inspect that as well?
No, the header is the basic header with a logo option slected and a normal menu from the built in menu.
