I’m a 75 year old “newby” who really shouldn’t have volunteered to try and do this for a non-profit organization. However, I’m really close to finishing using a Template. I need help with a few thing and I’d be good to go:
    1. How to get it out of Maintenance mode so the site can go live. I’m not sure how I got there in the first place. When I type in AVVA1015.org it takes me to the WordPress Dashboard. WHAT?????
    2. I want to center the long title on the Primary page or add a tag line under the main heading.
(Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America,
Chapter 1015 Cumberland Plateau, Crossville, TN)
    3. The picture I selected for the primary page is repeating on every page. How do just get it to stay on the 1st page only?
    4. I wanted an editable monthly calendar of event where you’d see the whole month of August on the calendar. What’s happening is the only event I entered is popping up on the primary page. I wanted an editable calendar by month that I could add to by clicking on the tab. Did I choose the wrong plugin?

    Can you help?

    Hi Sherri,

Thanks so much for reaching out and thank you for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!

I inspected your website and I want you to know you did a great job on the design! On inspection I noticed that many of your issues seem to have already been resolved, but lets break them down just to be sure.

1.) Maintenance Mode – I don’t see that the site is in maintenance mode, you normally get that when an update of some type is running on the backend of your site and it clears once the update completes.

2.) Centering the title on your home page – This can be done using the Post and Page Builder editor. You would need to select the text and use the center icon in your editor widget just above the content to center it.

3.) Repeating Hero Image – This seems to be resolved as well but it should be as simple as editing each page and removing the image manually.

4.) Editable Events Calendar – I’m not sure which plugin you chose here but it could be something inside of the plugin settings that you can modify to build your functionality. I’m pretty sure the The Events Calendar plugin has this functionality out of the box.

I hope I’ve answered everything for you Sherri! Please don’t hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions for us.

    Hey Brandon,

Thanks to your Superior Responses, I’m just about there. On the #2, I went to:
    POST & PAGES
    Block Library
    Add New Block
    All Pages
    Add New Pages
    Settings

There is no TEXT option. I went to SETTINGS that gave me POST & PAGE BUILDER PREMIUM (which is locked) and PREFERRED EDITOR which gave me these option:
    WORDPRESS POST TYPES
    POST
    PAGES
    CUSTOM POST TYPES
    BLOCK LIBRARY
    CRIO PAGE HEADERS
    CUSTOM TEMPLATES
    EVENTS
    POSTS

When I click on any of the above, I get a drop-down box that says the following:
    POST & PAGE BUILDER
    WORDPRESS EDITOR
    CLASSIC EDITOR
    DEFAULT

So, I’m not sure what to do with this.

#2 Getting the picture gallery under the website GALLERY heading, the pictures are too big and I can’t get them in several columns vs. 3 columns.

    Look forward to your response.

    Hi Sherry,

I’m happy to know that you were able to gain some insight from my response! For that text option I’m sorry I should have been more clear. You can drag your cursor over the text to highlight it just as you would on a normal word document.

Then use the editor tools (shown below) to center the title on page.

Now let’s move on to your gallery settings. If you edit the page and hover over the block that contains your gallery you should see a “pencil” icon appear. Click into that icon to open the “gallery settings” and in the left had column you’ll see settings for number of “columns” as well as a size setting with multiple options “thumbnail” being the smallest.

I hope this helps Sherry! We’re happy to assist you further with this if necessary.
