If you’d like to update your theme from Grid One to Crio you will have to completely redesign the site in Crio. Unfortunately changing your theme directly from Grid One to Crio will cause problems.

We have a free staging platform at boldgrid.com/central where you can spin up a WordPress installation, create the new site, and then use a backup plugin to move it live. Crio offers a more complex Customizer than Grid One providing more fine detail control over website elements. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
