The website design template came with four images, so I tried to replace them with my own photos. Got that. But they came out different, each different sizes, due evidently to the sizing of each of them. So I took out one photo thinking or hoping that would make the others adjust to fill the space. Not so. So I have been trying unsuccessfully to get that one photo back in, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this. It is so irritating.

Sorry for the problem with the photo. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to take care of that short of re-loading the template.  If you know the name of the photograph (or what it looks like), then it should be in the media library.  If you have not done so already, you can set up the staging site and use the same theme (Inspiration).  That should bring up the same page and then you can identify the photo from that page in staging.  If you have a backup you can also try restoring to get it back.

I am just starting out with setting up the site so unfortunately I don’t have a backup.  But it is not the photo I am looking for.  I am looking to fix it so I can restore it with 4 photos across the section.  There were 4, and no there are 3 and a big empty space.  Nothing will seem to go in that big empty space.  I already started over once because I didn’t like the way the design was working for me. Now I am further along with a different design.  I find it difficult to believe that there is not some way to put a photo in the section where it was before without starting over. I still have the photo, it is one of my own. It is the space where it used to be that is causing me trouble. “Undo” didn’t help, because I guess I did other things in between that didn’t work to fix it.  Using Boldgrid to customize is not easy at all.

    Hello Penny,

Sorry to hear about the troubles you are experiencing. You can add the block back to your page by editing your page and clicking the Add Block button. On the top-right next to Block Filters, click the drop-down and choose “Used Blocks”. You should then see the original block and can click Add to Page or drag/drop it back on your page. You can then roll your mouse over the section with the “empty space” on the left and click the Trash Can to delete it. Let us know if you have any further issues or questions.

    Thank you,

    John-Paul
