In the process of building my site from scratch with InMotion/BoldGrid. My website is weddinginvitationplace.com currently with Homestead until I’m ready to switch it over. I have html code from Wedding Wire that views as a Couple Choice Awards for the past several years. How do I add html code for an image? I thought BoldGrid was going to be much easier but there’s a serious learning curve. Homesteads SiteBuilder was so easy to figure out how to add htlm code. Help!

    Hello Julie,

You can use the same HTML code in WordPress as you use in any HTML site. It’s just a little different because the theme provides areas for where you can add images.  The formatting of the theme gives you a pre-made model as to where elements may be placed in WordPress.  To see an image being placed in code, first use the Media library to insert an image into a section of your article. After that, click on the tab in the top right corner of the editor window where it says TEXT.  There you can see the code that has been added for the image.  For a step-by-step guide on adding images in BoldGrid, check out this tutorial.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Kindest regards,
    Arnel C.
