1. What is the connect key for? Sorry I cannot sit and read through all directions for everything. I would love if you had videos to show us how to do everything.
2. I installed a plug in the other day…then I went to play with the settings in the customize area and when I went there there was the social media buttons….but it was not my plug in. How to make the plug in…not the Blod Grid…it seems once I played with the settings, my social media plug in disappeared.
3. is there a way to install a copywrite symbol on the footer? Is there a plug in for a simple footer like that?
4. Is there a way to just install a TEXT BLOCK? Each time I install a Blod Grid, it is such a fancy format which is great, but not conducive to just WRITING in a blog. Advice?

Hello nityasri,
Here is a link to the official BoldGrid youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJdzI_tYfKZjV2SDfRVSUlg
The “Connect Key” is your license to install and use BoldGrid. We do not have a video for getting your Connect Key (here is our helpful guide), but you can just click “Don’t have a Connect Key yet or lost your Key?” and enter your contact information. You will then be emailed a free connect key.

We are happy to help troubleshoot your social media plugin but will need some additional information, such as the specific plugin you are using. Can you provide a link to your site for us to test?

You can add a copyright symbol (©) to your footer with a widget. This is covered in our guide on How to Use Widgets in the WordPress Customizer. We also have a video on this topic here.

Yes, you can always create a “text block” on a page, by selecting the “text” editor tab and enclosing it in paragraph tags such as this:

This is my text block!

You can also Set up a Blog Page in BoldGrid. There are not currently any BoldGrid specific tools for adding Google ads, but since BoldGrid is run within WordPress there are many tools for accomplishing this. I found a helpful guide via online search on How to Properly Add Google AdSense to Your WordPress Site.

Thank you,

John-Paul
