So, as I said in the previous post, but for refresher to keep all the data together.

We have built our basic site, added the pages we initially want to appear, and built the menu. I figured out how to change the width of the side menu (primary). We have the pages listed, and links to the existing pages. It works fine in the editor. Once I go to view as a customer, none of the links work, nor do they appear to be accessible. Nothing happens when we click on the links. I don’t know if there is something in an overlay preventing access, or if we have done something else wrong. And maybe, when the border was added, it is over top the menu. But I’m not seeing how to bring things forward and backward in the display.

We really prefer the side menu and have struggled to get it setup to begin with. The goal here is for the menu to ALWAYS be visible, regardless how far they scroll through a page.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Mike,

We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here in the forums and many thanks for using Crio Pro WordPress theme!

I inspected your website at the URL you linked in the thread and it looks like you may be using a custom crio menu to create your sidebar menu functionality.

It may be easier to pull in your menu links and content using one of the preset menu layouts available in the WordPress Customizer.

If you navigate from your WordPress Dashboard to Appearance > Customize > Design > Header > Site Header Layout > Select Layout.

This method will automatically pull in your main menu links as well as give you the option to switch your site title and tagline on and off.

I hope this helps, please let us know if you have any other questions for us!

FYI… I have gone to the area you mentioned above and for both, the Header Layout and the Sticky Header layout, have selected one of the preset menu layouts, and when I draw the screen, there is no menu visible. Unless you are seeing something different than what I am. I’ve attempted to stay within the presets on everything, just to get the site up and running. So, my situation has changed slightly, and I have no clue what I did. Before, we could see the menu but the links were not active. Now, there is no menu on the home page. Do I need to start over from scratch?
This forum will not allow me upload images of what I’m seeing. So I’ll attempt to describe.

On the edit menu, I see my side bar menu (preset template) with the logo, tag, and social menu. Beneath all that is a box, with my menu items. Everything works in this menu. Links, display, everything.

On the site view (not signed in), the side bar menu is gone, but I have an image at the top, with no menu items. I want this to go away.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Mike,

I think you may have a custom menu activated for the page itself and not a global item. In this case you would need to “Edit Page” and set the Page Header attribute in the page settings.

You can use ImgBB to send us screenshot so we can see exactly what you’re experiencing.

We look forward to hearing from you!
