I cannot undertand that when i share to FB how the page is captured.

I do not know how to fix it…but when i share a new blog post, it either takes no graphic from the page, or it picks up my logo design.

It looks really bad and I am unable to properly share this blog.

I wrote about this before and was referred to FB to fix it…which I cannot do. They do not have an easy way to get help!

Please please help me to figure out why my posts will not work to share a graphic properly to FB.

Please do not refer me back to FB. It has completely stopped my work progressing because I cannot sort this out.HELP!

    Hello nityasri,

Thank you for your question on getting images to show when sharing to Faebook. When working with posts, at the bottom right (or bottom, depending on screen size) you will see a place for “Featured Image” This is how you set the image that posts show above the body. When this image is set, Facebook will use it by default as the image it displays when the post is shared.

This is a WordPress specific thing, so it works the same whether you are using BoldGrid or not.

If you are having issues with the post share, Facebook has a sharing debugger. This can help with the shared image. You may need to visit it and click the ‘rescrape’ button if you have recently changed the featured image after sharing.

    The debugger is located at:
    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/

    Kindest Regards,

    Scott M

    Can you please say more..

is this a setting I need to choose to show which graphic to grab?

    Please advise.

I am not familiar with this.
