Please review my new website. It says published, but I am not able to access the new website. Where is the problem (other than me)?

    Hello Jan-

Thanks for reaching out! I can see your website just fine.

It sounds like you’re experiencing “DNS Propagation.” When a new domain name is created, its new IP address takes time to spread across the internet to all of the DNS servers in the world. Normally this is pretty quick, but it can take as long as 24 hours sometimes. Here’s a helpful tool you can use to check on your DNS propagation at many locations around the world: https://www.whatsmydns.net/

    Hi Jesse,
Thanks for your guidance! – yes, now I understand.
I was searching with google and could not find it; which may be a complete different story. Should I be able to find it already, or does it take time for google to discover it? Anything I can do to improve visibility or just wait?

    Hi Jan,

I’m happy you Jesse was able to help get your DNS Propagation concern resolved. As far as Google, that is based on Search Engine Optimization. If you have an SEO plugin configured you should give it a few weeks so that web browsers crawlers have a chance to index your site and you should start seeing results in search engines.

There are many ways to improve SEO. This guide from Yoast SEO should help you setup the Yoast SEO plugin for maximum results.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.
