Hi– I am creating a new WordPress site on Dreamhost.com, which includes BoldGrid services. The website is currently hosted on a test server, so you likely can’t access it right now. I have created and managed many websites over the years, and have created and managed blogs on other platforms, but I just don’t understand this one. I want to set up a blog page, with: (1) a title at the top, (2) followed by a paragraph that explains the purpose of the blog, (3) followed by a list of each blog entry title and a brief description of the topic of each post. Is this possible, and if so, how do I set that up? Thank you!

Check out these two videos where I go through the process of setting up a default Blog page, as well as add a blog roll to any page.
From what you’ve described, you might need to opt for the second process, so you can add the description paragraph at the top.
For the individual post descriptions, you’ll add a “read more” tag to your blog posts themselves at the end of the introductory paragrah.
