    Hello,

I am trying to upgrade my website from PHP 7.4 to 8.0 or higher. We tried to do this Thursday (June 22)
but it was not possible due to issues with your plug-in. At present I am using SEO, Gallery and Ninja Forms.
My site needs this plug-in to do its current functions.

Is there a possible fix for this? I would stay with 7.4 but Dreamhost is charging me for not being 8.0 and higher
so the change needs to happen soon if possible.

    Thank you,
    Jae Kim

*Also, there was another plug-in that had issues called ‘Visual Composer Image Hover Effects’ which I mention because
it could be an interaction between the two plug-ins I’m not sure.

    Hi Jae,

Thanks for reaching out and thanks for using BoldGrid Post and Page Builder for WordPress!

I think the BoldGrid Gallery plugin may be the source of your php upgrade error. That particular plugin has been deprecated and all of its features were integrated into BoldGrid Post and Page Builder. It’s safe to delete the BoldGrid Gallery and proceed with your PHP upgrade.

Please let us know if you continue to have trouble with your upgrade after doing removing BoldGrid Gallery. If there’s an error message associated with the upgrade attempt we’d be happy to take a look if you don’t mind copy/pasting it into the thread here. You can also try enabling WP_DEBUG to see if it reveals anything.

Thanks Jae, we look forward to assisting you further with this!
