I have a question regarding Post & Page Builder. The thing is, is that when I build a page and then hit “Update” – the changes are not saved. It’s been like this for a while, and I don’t understand what might cause the problem. Can you assist, please?November 11, 2020 at 1:18 pm #31273OlesiaGuest
I’m having a similar issue. When I add content to the page with the visual editor and hit “Update” everything that I’ve been adding is missing. It is really frustrating and wastes a lot of time. Could you please assist?
That’s my browser error console:
DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for chrome-extension://fmkadmapgofadopljbjfkapdkoienihi/build/injectGlobalHook.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME
I am also pretty sure there is no plugin conflict, because I erased them all to troubleshoot, and the problem is still there.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

The error you’ve mentioned here shouldn’t have any effect, it’s related to a Chrome Extension you’re running and is not a fatal error. Can you let us know the address of your website so we can take a look? If you don’t want to share it publicly, you can use the reply form to list your site, that is not made public.November 12, 2020 at 1:09 pm #31346MikeGuest
I’m having the same issue Olesia described. It is happening when I try to edit in both Chrome and Safari. Deactivating Post and Page Builder is the only way I can save changes.November 12, 2020 at 2:16 pm #31353
Thanks for the report, I’m sorry to hear about the issue saving posts!
So far, we haven’t been able to replicate this issue in any of our testing. If you’re able to take a look at your browser console while you’re editing a post, we’ll be able to troubleshoot for you. Check out this quick video on how to access your browser’s error console:

Thank you for answering on such short notice!
We have contacted a technician who specializes in WordPress and after checking the website from the admin dashboard, she said that it’s a builder issue. I’m not really sure what it means, but by the looks of it, there is a bunch of people who are experiencing the same issue.
Do you want to access the website from the admin dashboard to check? It’s a staging website that we edit now, so it doesn’t have much to show from outside.

Thank you very much for the update, yes we’ve heard a similar report from 3 separate users now, so if you can file a premium support ticket or email our private support team we’d be happy to take a look and see if we can get this resolved for everyone.
