I’m noticing that the text headings (those styled as Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, etc.) in the body of my Crio-themed pages is being automatically hyphenated. That is, soft hyphens are being added automatically. This is visible when looking at the site on a mobile phone. Thus a heading “Journal of Hindu-Christian Studies” becomes

    Journal of Hin-
    du-Christian
    Studies

And “2020 Annual Meeting Program” becomes

    2020 Annual
    Meeting Pro-
    gram

I’m wondering if there’s a way to turn this auto-hyphenation off. Perhaps a CCS snippet?

    Suggestions appreciated! Lance

Thank you for contacting us Lance, our team is happy to answer any questions you have about working with our WordPress theme Crio!

You are correct in that we will need to use some custom CSS to change how auto-hyphens function for your headings and I updated our article on Working with Fonts in Crio with a troubleshooting section that explains how to remove auto-hyphens from your headings.

I hope that information helps you get your headings behaving as expected Lance and please let us know if you have any other questions!
