    Hi,
I am using Bold Grid/ Total Upkeep on my current server which is now experiencing major difficulties that the server hosting team is trying to fix without success so far. I need my site to run now! I have a valid backup from Oct 30 of this year that I have downloaded to my local machine. Can I use this to restore my site to a new hosting company site?

    Hi Lynne-

Yes, by default your backups will contain a full copy of your database as well as your website files which a System Administrator can restore to another site manually, or you can use Total Upkeep on the destination host to restore your backup.

Check out these detailed instructions on how to migrate your site to another WordPress host.
