Looking at purchasing BoldGrid but first need to make sure it is compatible or will work with SSO (Asure Plugin). Currently we can not use MediaTemple Staging Site in our WP environment because everyone needs to have Admin Access to MediaTemple to meet the Azure SSO.

We don’t want to give all WP admins access to MediaTemple but we do want all Admins to have access to a Staging environment.   Can we bypass Azure SSO when using BoldGrid Staging?

    Thanks

    Hi.

Thanks for posting your question about the SSO Azure plugin compatibility with BoldGrid. The login functionality for WordPress is the same as for BoldGrid. I am not able to speak for MediaTemple’s staging site functionality or for the SSO Azure plugin’s capabilities.

I recommend you contact Microsoft regarding the ability to do what you are looking to do. They have more insight into the products and services they offer.

BoldGrid is built for WordPress, so in theory, if your plugin works for WordPress it will work with BoldGrid.

Additionally, you do not need to purchase anything to try out BoldGrid. You can obtain a Free Connect Key to test things out.

As always, before testing things, I recommend making a backup and downloading that backup to your computer. This allows you to restore the site to its working condition should disaster strike.

    I hope this helps.
    Sincerely,
    Carlos D
