The colored grid icons no longer appear within the WordPress editor. Was this a change or is this a bug?

    Hi Earl,

Thanks for reaching out with and I’m sorry to hear you having issue with the color control settings in BoldGrid Post and Page Builder.

Could you explain what you’re experiencing? Are you attempting to change background colors for sections, rows or columns? Or perhaps wanting to change font colors or overlays?

Also when did you notice this issue, was it after an update to Post and Page Builder or another WordPress plugin, or WordPress core?

We look forward to hearing from you Earl, and we’re happy to assist you further with this!

It has been almost a year that this has been happening. I’m not trying to do anything other than add content to a page. Typically, the icon’s that show the row, column or content show up allowing me to move the blocks around and access the list of commands. These no longer appear. When I look at the text I still see the boldgrid code. It could be when I updated the Post and Page Builder. I am currently running version 1.22.2 and I’m using the Wedge theme.

Using the WP Rollback plugin, I rolled back to 1.22.1 – no change, add block not working, 1.21.3 – didn’t show the icons but it did display a colored line to the left of the structure but no way to change the location or access commands, add block not working, 1.21.1 – same as .3, 1.21.0 – same, 1.20.0 – same. Returning to latest version.

    Hi Earl,

Thanks for the information. Do you think you may have possible switched your preferred page editor? You may viewing the WordPress Block Editor or Classic Editor.

Try following the steps in this guide to switch your preferred editor to Post and Page Builder.

You may want to inspect your browser console as well to see if it reveals any error messages. There could be something like another plugin conflicting with Post and Page Builder causing your issue.

Thanks Earl, we look forward to assisting you further with this.
