I’m creating a child theme using Diced as the parent, but when referencing boldgrid-diced as the parent name WordPress is saying the theme doesn’t exist, yet Diced is installed. I’m thinking I don’t have the correct name listed, but I don’t know where to find the name. Thoughts?

Thank you for your question about creating a child theme. We a great example of how to accomplish this with the Hydra theme in our guide on how to Create a Child Theme to Customize Your WordPress Website. In that example, you should be able to just replace the $parent_style value with ‘boldgrid-diced’.

Thanks for the response, and that’s exactly what I did, but WordPress said that the Diced theme was not installed, thus my confusion. How do I find out exactly what value the theme is using?
