Hello, I will shortly be creating a website. Part of the website will offer links to Amazon products and I want to use Amazon’s OneLink which redirects user to their geographically appropriate store. There is a WordPress plug-in (see https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/help/node/topic/202170350?cid=onelinkIGcross&ac-ms-src=onelinkIGcross) which allows the OneLink functionality to be used. I intended to use BoldGrid as my website builder – will this plug-in be supported?

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hello Dave,

Thanks for your question about the Amazon plugin.  BoldGrid primarily focuses on working with WordPress – we do not test third party plugins (as there are thousands).  That being said, BoldGrid’s purpose is to help build and modify a WordPress site.  It shouldn’t affect a plugin for redirecting users to another location.

    Hello Dave,

Thanks for your question about the Amazon plugin being compatible with BoldGrid.  BoldGrid is a series of plugins that is specifically made to be compatible to WordPress.  We do not test with third-party plugins, so it’s difficult to say if the plugin will be compatible or not.  My advice is that since BoldGrid concerns mainly the structures of creating and modifying a website, then it should not conflict with a re-directed link.  You are welcome to try it and then check to see if there is a conflict.  We have no history of an issue, but you are the first person (to my knowledge) to ask this particular question.  If you do run into problems, you are welcome to contact BoldGrid support so that we can investigate the issue in more depth.
