Will this website work if I take out BoldGrid?

You are free to move a BoldGrid website to any hosting environment you want. Yes, if you create a full backup of the files and database you can move it anywhere. One of the easiest ways to move the site would be to use the BoldGrid Backup Plugin. Since BoldGrid doesn’t use any shortcodes, if you disable the plugin it still will function on the front end.
