Thanks for asking your question about Coins, the official currency in BoldGrid. Coin’s values are determined at the hosting level and can differ on the amount in which you purchase. Some plans have coins included with their hosting. Other plans may allow you to purchase the coins outright.
Keep in mind, you don’t have to use the images provided. You can set the image search in BoldGrid so it will find royalty free images that do not cost coins. If you want to use the images provided and there’s a “cost” associated, you may have to reach out to your hosting provider since coins would be purchased through them.

Support is offered here via questions like you’ve posted. Depending on who you host with, they may offer support as well. Web Hosting Hub and InMotion Hosting, which are both approved hosts offer support for BoldGrid to their customers via their respective support departments.
Short of that, in this Question and Answer section, we typically respond within the hour during normal business hours (Monday – Friday 8am to 6pm EDT). We’re happy to help you, so feel free to ask any questions you may have.

We recommend using one key per site. This is especially important if you are using coins to purchase items within BoldGrid.

Yes, you can certainly do that. You can get the embed code from YouTube and then insert it directly into your post or page using the “Text” tab.

Thank you for your question on uninstalling WordPress. Boldgrid is a suite of plugins designed to work within WordPress itself, it cannot function as a stand alone product.

Thank you for your question on copyright coin subscription. We currently do not have plans to implement an ongoing subscription in the near future.
Copyright Coins currently are only purchased on an ‘as needed’ basis, though you may certainly purchase as often as you like.

BoldGrid is a plugin suite that works on WordPress. WordPress is hosted on a web server owned by a hosting company. This means it does not run on your local machine.
As long as the server can run WordPress, then it can run BoldGrid.

Thank you for your question about BoldGrid working on WordPress.com.
Due to the nature of WordPress.com, the BoldGrid plugin suite will not work on it. It does, however, work with any self-hosted WordPress site.

Thank you for your question on removing social media icons. You can modify these via the Menus tab in the Customizer. Edit the “Social Media” menu and you are able to remove any items you do not wish to have.
