I forgot to add that the parent page opens with a desktop but not with a mobile.

Oh my gosh, Casey, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! It worked!!!!!! 😀

I soooo appreciate you having taken the time to tell me what to do!!! Grid One is my favorite theme but the drop down menu with the background looked too heavy for how I have the website.

Update: I found a font plugin that solved the problem. 😀
