In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of capturing an image and sending a screenshot using Snipboard.io, a user-friendly image hosting service.

Step 1: Capture the Screenshot

Before you can share a screenshot, you need to capture the image of the issue you’re facing. Follow these steps based on your operating system:

On Windows:

Option 1: Snipping Tool:

  1. Open the Snipping Tool from the Start menu.
  2. Use the tool to capture the area of the screen you want to share.
  3. Note that you might need to hold down the “fn” key and then press “Print scr”
  4. Save the snip to your computer.

Option 2: Print Screen (PrtScn):

  1. Press the “PrtScn” (may differ slightly on some keyboards “Print scr”) key to capture the entire screen.
  2. Open an image editor (like Paint), paste the screenshot, and save the file.

On macOS:

  • Command + Shift + 4:
    • Press Command + Shift + 4 to activate the screenshot tool.
    • Select the area you want to capture.
    • The screenshot is saved to your desktop.

Step 2: Upload the Screenshot to Snipboard.io

Now that you have captured the screenshot, let’s upload it to Snipboard:

  1. Visit Snipboard.io:
  2. Upload the Screenshott:
    • Click on the “Start Uploading” button.
    • Choose the screenshot file from your computer.
  3. Copy the Image URL:
    • Once the upload is complete, Snipboard.io will provide a direct link to your image.
    • Copy the provided “link to your clipboard.”

Now that you have the Snipboard.io link, you can easily share it with our support team:

  1. Access BoldGrid Support:
  2. Include the Snipboard.io Link:
    • In the description or message body, paste the Snipboard.io link you copied earlier.
    • Include a brief description of the issue and any relevant information.
  3. Click on the “Submit”  button to send the support ticket.
