Note that the Gutenberg editor has been integrated directly into the WordPress Administrator dashboard as of WordPress version 5.0<\/strong>. It is now the default WordPress editor.<\/p>\n

Posts or pages that are in draft status can be flagged for review using an option called Pending Review<\/strong>.  The editor provides this option using a slider. Follow the directions below to learn how to use the Pending Review option in the Gutenberg editor.<\/p>\n

Your post or page must be in a draft status in order to set the Pending Review<\/strong> flag. If you have published it, then you will not have this option. You can revert a published document to a draft using the link in the top right corner labeled Switch to draft<\/em>.<\/p>\n

  1. Login to your WordPress Administrator Dashboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Open an existing draft of a page or post in the editor. You can also create a new page or post.<\/li>\n
  3. \"\"<\/a>In the right hand column, click on the slider for Pending Review<\/strong>. This will activate the flag for the review requirement.\n

  4. Click on Save Draft<\/strong> to save your changes at this point.  Note that clicking on<\/em> Publish<\/strong> will remove your pending Review flag<\/em>.\n

    The flag is simply a marker so that you note posts or pages that need review. If you publish the page\/post, then the flag will be cleared.
