Visual editor is disabled<\/h2>\n

Within WordPress, there is a setting to disable the visual editor. If you have the visual editor disabled, you may have noticed that you cannot edit widgets.<\/p>\n

You can enable the visual editor by following these steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Log into your BoldGrid Dashboard<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  2. In the left menu, hover over Users<\/strong> and click Your Profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Make sure Disable the visual editor when writing<\/em>  is not checked<\/strong>.\"enable-visual-editor\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Click the Update Profile<\/strong> button at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Sucuri Security<\/strong> – Restrict wp-includes access<\/h2>\n

    If you have the Sucuri Security<\/strong> plugin installed and you “hardened”<\/strong> the wp-includes<\/strong> folder, an important WordPress file may have become blocked. Try reverting this change to see if it resolves the issue.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Login to your Dashboard.<\/li>\n
    2. In the left menu, hover over Sucuri Security<\/strong> and then click Hardening<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Find the section labeled Restrict wp-includes access<\/strong> and click the Revert hardening<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Call to action<\/strong> is missing in the Customizer<\/h2>\n

      When editing your homepage within the Customizer, you may find that the Call to Action<\/strong> widget is missing.  The Call to Action<\/em> widget area is only accessible from pages using the Home<\/strong> Template<\/em>.
      \n      <\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

      If your Home<\/em> page is not showing the Call to Action<\/em> widget area, changing the page’s Template<\/em> to Home<\/em> should resolve the issue. To do this:<\/p>\n

      1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. In the left menu, click Pages<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Find and click on your homepage.<\/li>\n
      4. Under the section labeled Page Attributes<\/strong>, change the Template<\/strong> to Home<\/strong>. Click Publish<\/strong>.
