A <b>Block<\/b> is a section of content. A Page can include only 1 Block or as many as you would like. The Post and Page Builder includes a large set of professionally designed Blocks as a starting point. In this article we will show you how add and save <b>BoldGrid Blocks<\/b> using the <b>Block Library<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Post and Page Builder - Working with Blocks\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uDwQKeFe344?list=PLqNQzP6vlTnyuqeSu3aXcQCXknzkTxCN1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"add-a-new-boldgrid-block\">Add a New BoldGrid Block<\/h2>\n<p>When adding content to a page or post or starting a new page or post from scratch it can be challenging to find a good starting point to work from. The Post and Page Builder gives you the ability to get started using pre-built blocks with sample content that you can edit to fit your needs. The steps below will walk you through the process of adding a new block.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the Dashboard, navigate to <b>Pages or Posts <\/b>&rarr; <b>View All<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Edit the Page or Post<\/li>\n<li>Click the <b>Add Block<\/b> Button at the top of the Editor<\/li>\n<li>On the left side of the screen you will see your page<\/li>\n<li>Hover over a Block, or Section, and drag handles will appear to move the sections as needed<\/li>\n<li>On the right side of the screen you will see available Blocks to add<\/li>\n<li>There are two dropdowns at the top &ndash; <b>Types <\/b>and <b>Category<\/b><\/li>\n<li>With each new selection the available Blocks below will update<\/li>\n<li>Hover over a Block and click <b>+ to Page<\/b> to add to the top of the page<\/li>\n<li><b>Premium Blocks<\/b> are available to Premium Key users and are designated by a banner at the bottom of the block<\/li>\n<li>Click on the directional arrows on the left of the Block to drag and drop into a specific location<\/li>\n<li>Click the<b> Check Mark <\/b>Button in the top right to return to the Editor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"save-a-boldgrid-block\">Save a BoldGrid Block<\/h2>\n<p>If you&rsquo;ve worked on a section of content that you want to re-use or that you want to save as a starting point for additional content on your site, you can save it as a block to your&nbsp;<strong>Block Library<\/strong>&nbsp;making it easy to add to a page or post any time. The steps below will cover how to save content you&rsquo;ve created to your&nbsp;<strong>Block Library<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the Dashboard, navigate to <b>Pages or Posts <\/b>&rarr; <b>View All<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Edit the Page or Post<\/li>\n<li>Hover over the content you would like to save as a block<\/li>\n<li>Locate the grey section tag at the bottom and click the <strong>Edit Section <\/strong>icon<\/li>\n<li>Click the &hearts; <strong>Save Block<\/strong> option in the list to Save the Block to your <b>Block Library<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Provide the Block with a name and click Save<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"add-a-saved-boldgrid-block\">Add A Saved BoldGrid Block<\/h2>\n<p>If you have saved several blocks to your&nbsp;<strong>Block Library<\/strong>&nbsp;or want to use one of your saved blocks, adding it to your page or post is a snap:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click the <b>Add Block<\/b> Button at the top of the Editor<\/li>\n<li>Using the Types dropdown menu, select <b>Block Library<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Here you will see your Saved Blocks to add<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You have now added a new Block to a page and saved it to your library for reuse.
