Basically, in order to accept credit card information, you need your server to be compliant with current security standards. This will require a lot of patient, time, and money. But with a third-party payment processor, you can let farm out all that security work and save yourself a lot of effort.<\/p>\n

All you’ll need is account with Authorize.net<\/a>. And then we can proceed with the steps below.<\/p>\n

How to set up credit card payments<\/h2>\n

Once you have created an account with Authorize.net, you can proceed by installing a WordPress plugin and filling in some account data.<\/p>\n

  1. Log into your BoldGrid admin area<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Hover over Plugin<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Click Add New<\/b><\/li>\n
  4. Search Authorize.net Payment Gateway For WooCommerce <\/em>in the plugin search field<\/li>\n
  5. Install the plugin by clicking Install<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Activate the plugin by clicking Activate<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Select Settings<\/b> under WooCommerce<\/em><\/li>\n
  8. Click Payments<\/b> tab (at top)<\/li>\n
  9. Enable Authorize.net AIM<\/b><\/li>\n
  10. Click Manage<\/b> for Authorize.net AIM<\/li>\n
  11. Enable<\/b> the payment module<\/li>\n
  12. Fill in your Login ID and Transaction Key (available in your Authorize.net account)<\/li>\n
  13. Click Save Changes<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    That’s it! Now you know how to use and activate the Authorize.net plugin for WooCommerce. Now an easy credit card payment option will appear for your users.
