Selecting Different Layouts

user 6 years ago updated by Harry J (Products Manager) 5 years ago 2

I would like to see a control that would allow me to select different layouts for my pages, such as full width and fixed width

Answer

Thank you for your feature request. This is currently something we are implementing within the Theme Framework, and it should be releasing soon.

Flexibility with options in post pages to have full width post pages without side widget.

traceyarbon 4 years ago updated by support (Support) 4 years ago 1

I'm using Evolve theme, and would love the ability to be able to have the option to have post pages without any side widgets built in so we can have full width post pages. Don't like adding so many plugins just to do what I would like, which results in too many other problems. That would be really great.

I'd like a widget that I can put on my static front page that will allow me to show up to 10 of the most recent blog posts. Right now it seems the only way is to setup a child theme and this is way to cumbersome

Instead of a list of blog posts, let's have a widget that adds the blog. That way simple non-programmers like me don't have to create  child theme

Answer

Sorry to hear that one didn't work out the way you needed! Another plugin that does a really good job keeping all of the formatting is:

Explicit FTP over TLS

Jeffrey Shepherd 5 years ago updated by support (Support) 5 years ago 2

I've been having to modify my BoldGrid Backup file "class-boldgrid-backup-admin-ftp.php" to have the two "ftp_connect" lines use "ftp_ssl_connect" because my Pure-FTP server uses "High" encryption requirements.  So I need the option to have "Explicit FTP over TLS" enabled.

This is what I change, version 1.8.1:

Line 245 & 761:
Change: ftp_connect

To: ftp_ssl_connect

That's it. That allows BoldGrid to connect to my FTP server through Explicit FTP over TLS.

Conversion and other tracking features

mehinsky12345 5 years ago updated 5 years ago 4

Hello there!

I'm having problems with Google Ads tracking simply because after every page update, as an example, call gtag_report_conversion just got removed so it requires to paste it manually. Anyway, with pasting into the code it doesn't seem to work properly.

Ability to name Cloud WordPress Installs

harry 6 years ago updated by Harry J (Products Manager) 5 years ago 3

When using multiple Cloud WordPress installs in BoldGrid Central, it is hard to keep track of which installation correlates to the site I want to work on. The ability to set a name for them would be a great feature to implement.

I Think you guys should add a background remover feature for cx's with very little graphic design background they can take there image/logo and remove background to add in the header so it flows with their site and looks clean

DavidSa 6 years ago updated by support (Support) 6 years ago 1

There are plenty of android apps out there that do this but to add this feature would be extremely helpful and i can remove photoshop or other photo editing apps from my workflow and focus on being in one environment

Back to Top Button

Max P 6 years ago updated by Harry J (Products Manager) 6 years ago 1

I'm trying to add a back to top button, but it doesn't appear that is something I can do.  Would like to see something like that added.
